AYAM NESTUM / NESTUM CHICKEN




Chinese Style Chicken Nestum
(Besides chicken, this recipe also can be use on prawn and squid)

Ingredients

400 grams boneless chicken fillets
Nestle Nestum cereal
Curry leaves
1 egg
3 teaspoons of margarine
½ teaspoon sugar
3 tablespoons flour
5 stems bird’s eye chilli shredded
1 onion cut into cubes
2 cloves garlic, cut into cubes

Methods

  1. Cut chicken fillets mixed with dry flour, fry until cooked and set aside.
  2. Put the margarine in a pan at low heat, sauté the onion, garlic, chilli and curry leaves and fry for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
  3. Put the fried chicken fillets, mix well the margarine with chicken.
  4. On high fire/heat, break the egg and mix it with chicken until well mixed, turn off the heat.
  5. Put the Nestum cereals and sugar to taste, fry it until all the cereal mixed with chicken fillet. ( do not turn on heat while mixing).
Ayam Nestum Chinese Style 
(Selain ayam, resepi ini juga boleh menggunakan udang atau sotong)

Bahan-bahan

400 gram isi ayam tanpa tulang
Nestum Nestle 
Daun kari 
1 biji telur
3 sudu teh majerin
½ sudu teh gula 
3 sudu besar tepung gandum
5 tangkai cili padi dimayang
1 ulas bawang besar dipotong kiub
2 ulas bawang putih dipotong kiub

Langkah-langkah

  1. Ayam yang potong kecil digaul dengan tepung gandum kering, goreng hingga masak dan ketepikan.
  2. Masukkan majerin dalam kuali, guna api kecil, tumiskan bawang besar, bawang putih, cili padi dan daun kari, goreng selama 30 saat atau naik bau.
  3. Masukkan ayam yang sudah siap goreng tadi, gaul ratakan majerin dengan ayam.
  4. Buka api besar, masukan telur sebiji dan gaul telur dengan ayam supaya telur semua meleket pada ayam dan matikan api.
  5. Masukkan Nestum dan gula secukupnya, goreng hingga semua nestum sebati dengan ayam (tidak perlu hidupkan api pada semasa mengaul).

KERABU IKAN MAYONG / HALIBUT SALAD

Halibut Salad

Ingredients 

300 grams of dried/salted halibut fillet cut into cubes
3 stalks lemongrass sliced
5 -7 cloves of shallot sliced
3 – 4 cloves garlic sliced
1 ginger bud sliced
5 -10 stems bird’s eye chilli sliced
8 – 10 mint leaves sliced
1 whole lemon squeezed for juice

Salt
Sugar

Methods 
  1. Fry halibut fillet for 2 - 3 minutes, put aside. 
  2. Put the fried fillet in a container and mixed all sliced ingredients. Mix well.
  3. Add salt and sugar to taste 
  4. Pour squeezed lemon juice and mixed thoroughly. 
  5. Ready to be served. 
Kerabu Ikan Mayong

Bahan-bahan

300 gram isi ikan mayong kering/masin dipotong kiub
3 batang serai diracik
5 – 7 ulas bawang merah diracik
3 – 4 ulas bawang putih diracik
1 kuntum bunga kantan diracik
5 – 10 batang cili padi diracik
8 – 10 helai daun pudina diracik
1 biji lemon diperah jus
Garam
Gula

Langkah-langkah
  1. Ikan mayong digoreng 2 ke 3 minit, ketepikan, 
  2. Masukkan ikan di dalam bekas dan dicampurkan semua bahan diracik. Gaul rata. 
  3. Garam dan gula secukup rasa.
  4. Masukkan jus perahan lemon dan digaul sehingga sebati. 
  5. Siap untuk dihidang.
