KUEH LOPES DAN SIRAP GULA PERANG \ PANDAN FLAVOUR GLUTINOUS RICE IN PALM SUGAR SYRUP







Pandan Flavour Glutinous Rice In Palm Sugar Syrup

Ingredients

3 cups glutinous rice

Coconut milk from 1 coconut 
Extract pandan colouring and flavour

Steamed Shredded coconut mix with salt
Salt
Pandan leaves

For syrup

2 pieces of palm sugar (or brown sugar)


Methods

  1. Rice soaked for 2-3 hours.
  2. Heat the steamer to a boil.
  3. Mix the pandan leaves into the water in steamer.
  4. Drain the rice and put in a container for steamed.
  5. Add water and extract pandan until the level of the rice and mix it evenly and steam for 15 minutes.
  6. Once cooked remove and stir the sticky rice with coconut milk mixed with salt.
  7. Steam it again for 5 minutes.
  8. Ready to be serve with syrup, cut it to shape desire and rolled and mixed with steamed shredded coconut.
For steamed shredded coconut
  1. Mixed shredded coconut with salt and steam for 2 - 3 minutes

For syrup

  1. Heat palm sugar until melted, mixed with water.
Kueh Lopes Dan Sirap Gula Kabung

Bahan-bahan

3 cawan beras pulut
Santan dari 1 biji kelapa
Pati warna dan rasa pandan
Kelapa parut dicampur dengan garam dikukus
Garam
Daun pandan

Untuk Sirap

2 keping gula kabung (atau gula perang)

Langkah-langkah

  1. Beras pulut direndam selama 2 – 3 jam.
  2. Panaskan pengukus sehingga mendidih. 
  3. Campurkan daun pandan dalam air pengukus.
  4. Toskan beras dan masukkan ke dalam bekas untuk dikukus.
  5. Masukkan air dan pati pandan sehingga paras beras dan gaul agar warna menjadi sekata dan kukus selama 15 minit.
  6. Setelah pulut masak keluarkan dan gaulkan dengan santan yang dicampur garam.
  7. Kukus semula selama 5 minit.
  8. Siap untuk dihidang bersama sirap gula, boleh dipotong mengikut bentuk disukai dan digaul dengan campuran kukusan kelapa parut dan garam.
Untuk kukusan kelapa parut

  1. Kelapa parut dicampur dengang garam dan dikukus selama 2 - 3 minit.

Untuk Sirap
  1. Panaskan gula kabung sehingga cair, dicampur sedikit air.
