Crispy Fried Chicken
Ingredients
1 chicken cut into small pieces
1 cup flour
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon rice flour
½ teaspoon of baking powder
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of mixed spice
1 teaspoon of mixed herbs
1 teaspoon of chilli powder
½ cup corn flakes (coarsely pounded)
1 tablespoon homemade ginger-garlic paste
Salt
Oil for frying
Methods
- Washed and drained chicken, and marinated with ginger-garlic paste and salt.
- Dry mix flours, baking powder, spices, herbs, chilli powder and corn flakes.
- Break the eggs in a separate container and mix.
- Dipped chicken into whisked egg and then put into a flour mixture.
- Mix the flour mixture to cover the whole chicken.
- Heat the oil, add the chicken and fry until golden brown.
- Ready to be serve.
Bahan-bahan
1 ekor ayam dipotong kecil
1 cawan tepung gandum
3 sudu besar tepung jagung
1 sudu besar tepung beras
½ sudu teh baking powder
2 biji telor
1 sudu teh rempah campuran
1 sudu teh herba campuran
1 sudu teh serbuk cili
½ cawan corn flakes (tumbuk kasar)
1 sudu besar pes halia-bawang putih
Garam
Minyak untuk menggoreng
Langkah-langkah
- Ayam dibasuh dan ditoskan, dan diperap seketika dengan pes halia-bawang putih dan garam.
- Campur kering semua tepung, baking powder, rempah, herba, serbuk cili dan corn flakes.
- Pecahkan telor dalam bekas lain dan pukul.
- Ayam dicelupkan ke dalam telor dan kemudian dimasukkan kedalam bekas mengandungi campuran tepung.
- Gaul campuran tepung agar meyeliputi keseluruhan ayam.
- Panaskan minyak dan setelah betul-betul panas, masukkan ayam dan goring sehingga kuning keemasan.
- Siap untuk dihidang.
