SAMBAL HITAM BELIMBING BULUH / DRY-FRIED STARFRUITS REED IN HOT SAMBAL

 Belimbing Buluh Segar / Fresh Starfruits Reed
 Menyangai Belimbing / Dry-frying the Starfruits Reed
Belimbing Siap Disangai / Dry-fried Starfruits Reed
 Bahan-bahan yang diperlukan / Ingredients used
 Bawang besar / Onions
 Bawang putih dan daun selasih / Garlic and Thai basil
 Bilis / Anchovies 
 Cili padi / Bird's eye chillies 
  Belimbing buluh yang telah disangai / Dry-fried starfruits reed
 Bahan yang ditumbuk / Pounded ingredients
Bahan ditumbuk / Pounding the ingredients
Hasil akhir bahan yang ditumbuk / Final results of pounded ingredients
 Menumis semua bahan ditumbuk / Sautéing the pounded ingredients
Dry-Fried Starfruits Reed in Hot Sambal 

Ingredients

1 cup starfruit reed (about 15 -20 pieces)
½ cup bird’s eye chili
1 cup dried anchovies
1 large onion (if shallots 5)
3 cloves of garlic
1 sprig Thai basil
Oil for sauté
Salt
Sugar

Methods
  1. Fry-dry starfruits reed (fried without oil) until it turn black. Put aside and let it cool. 
  2. Pound/blend the onion, garlic and anchovies until finely. 
  3. Put in fried starfruits reed, basil leaf and pound together until well mixed. 
  4. Heat oil and sauté all ingredients to dry and become black. 
  5. Sugar and salt to taste.
  6. Ready to be serve.
Sambal Hitam Belimbing Buluh

Bahan-bahan

1 cawan belimbing buluh (lebih kurang 15 -20 biji)
½ cawan cili padi
1 cawan ikan bilis
1 bawang besar (5 ulas bawang merah)
3 ulas bawang putih
1 tangkai daun selasih
Minyak untuk menumis
Garam
Gula

Langkah-langkah
  1. Belimbing disangai (goreng tanpa minyak) sehingga hitam. Ketepi dan sejukkan.
  2. Tumbuk/kisar bawang besar, bawang putih dan ikan bilis sehingga lumat.
  3. Masukkan belimbing yang telah sejuk, daun selasih dan tumbuk bersama campuran sehingga sebati.
  4. Panaskan minyak dan tumis semua bahan sehingga kering dan menjadi hitam.
  5. Masukan gula dan garam secukup rasa.
  6. Siap untuk dihidang.

DAGING SALAI MASAK LEMAK MENGGUNAKAN PEMANGGANG AJAIB / SMOKED BEEF IN HOT CREAMY SAUCE USING MAGIC PAN GRILL






Smoked Beef in Hot Creamy Sauce Using Magic Pan Grill

Ingredients

½ kg beef cut in 1-inch chunks- smoked
10 -15 basil leaves
1 lemon grass – pounded
4 – 5 bird’s eye chilli - pounded
5 – 6 starfruits reed – halve
1 young mango – quartered
1 turmeric leaf - cut
1 ginger flower finely cut
1 teaspoon homemade garlic-ginger paste
2 tablespoon homemade multi-purpose paste
50 ml palm milk
1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
Salt
Sugar

Methods

  1. Pour water in a pot and add homemade ginger-garlic paste, multi-purpose paste, pounded bird’s eye chilli and turmeric powder, mix thoroughly.
  2. Add smoked beef, cook until tender.
  3. Pour palm milk and stir. After boiling, put basil leaves, turmeric leaf, ginger flower, starfruit reed and young mango, stir until well blended.
  4. Season it with salt and sugar.
  5. Ready to served with rice.
Daging Salai Masak Lemak Menggunakan Pemanggang Ajaib


Bahan-bahan

½ kg daging lembu potong dalam 1 inci - salai
10 -15 daun selasih
1 batang serai - dititik
4 – 5 cili padi - dititik
5 - 6 belimbing buluh – dibelah dua
1 mangga muda - dibelah empat
1 kunyit daun - dipotong
1 halia bunga halus dipotong
1 sudu teh pes halia-bawang putih buatan sendiri
2 sudu besar pes pelbagai guna buatan sendiri
50 ml santan sawit
1 sudu teh serbuk kunyit
Garam
Gula

Langkah-langkah

  1. Tuangkan air dalam periuk dan tambahkan pes halia-bawang putih buatan sendiri, pes pelbagai guna, cili padi dan serbuk kunyit, kacau sehingga sebati.
  2. Masukkan daging lembu salai, masak sehingga lembut.
  3. Tuangkan santan sawit dan kacau. Selepas mendidih, masukkan daun selasih, daun kunyit, bunga kantan, belimbing buluh dan mangga muda, kacau hingga sebati.
  4. Perisakan dengan garam dan gula.
  5. Siap untuk dihidangkan dengan nasi.

LEMPENG KELAPA-OATS / COCONUT-OATS PANCAKE



Coconut-Oats Pancakes

Ingredients

2 cups flour
3 tablespoons grated coconut
3 tablespoons oats flakes

1 cup evaporated milk
Salt
Sugar
Olive oil

Methods

  1. Combine all ingredients except olive oil and mix well.
  2. Balance with sugar and salt to taste. Concentration is moderate.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan.
  4. Scoop the mixture and spread evenly over the pan.
  5. Flip to get the pancakes cook evenly.
  6. Ready to be serve with dipping sauce.
Lempeng Kelapa-Oats

Bahan-bahan

2 cawan tepung gandum
3 sudu besar kelapa parut
3 sudu besar kepingan oats 

1 cawan susu sejat
Garam
Gula
Minyak zaiton

Langkah-langkah

  1. Campurkan semua bahan kecuali minyak zaiton dan digaul rata.
  2. Imbangkan rasa dengan gula dan garam. Kepekatan adalah sederhana.
  3. Panaskan kuali bersama minyak zaiton.
  4. Sendukkan campuran dan ratakan di atas kuali.
  5. Terbalikkan supaya mendapat lempeng yang masak sekata.
  6. Siap untuk dihidang bersama pencicah.

ROTI JOHN RINGKAS / SIMPLE SPICY FILLING BUN











Simple Spicy Filling Bun
Ingredients

6 sausage bun
Butter
Olive oil

Filling

450 grams of minced chicken
1 large onion, diced
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon curry powder
3 eggs beaten
Coriander
 

Sauces/Decoration
Mayonnaise
Chilli sauce
Lettuce

Methods

  1. Sauté onion until it is fragrant.
  2. Add minced chicken, black pepper, curry powder, coriander and salt. Stir well and let it heated for a while.
  3. Once it cooked set aside.
  4. Beat eggs and add to the minced chicken mixture. Mix it well
  5. Slice sausage bun and buttered it.
  6. Heat a frying pan and spoon filling mixture and spread evenly.
  7. Place bread on a mixture and let it for a moment.
  8. Lift it and put lettuce, mayonnaise and chili sauce.
  9. Cut it into small portion and ready to eat.
Roti John Ringkas

Bahan-bahan

6 roti sosej
Mentega
Minyak zaiton

Inti

450 gram daging ayam kisar
1 biji bawang besar ~ potong dadu
1 sudu teh serbuk lada hitam
1 sudu teh serbuk kari daging
3 biji telor dipukul
Daun sup

Bahan Sapuan/Hiasan

Mayonnaise
Sos cili
Salad

Langkah-langkah

  1. Tumiskan bawang hingga wangi.
  2. Masukkan daging ayam kisar, serbuk lada hitam, serbuk kari daging, daun sup dan sedikit garam. Kacau sebati dan biarkan seketika.
  3. Setelah masak ketepikan.
  4. Pukul telur dan campurkan ke dalam inti. Gaul sebati
  5. Roti sosej dibelah dua dan disapukan mentega.
  6. Panaskan kuali leper dan sendukkan campuran inti dan ratakan.
  7. Letakkan roti ke atas campuran inti dan biarkan seketika.
  8. Angkat letakkan salad, mayonnaise dan sos cili.
  9. Potong kecil dan siap untuk dimakan.
