NASI AYAM TANAK / NORMAL COOK CHICKEN RICE






 You can cook chicken in many ways.  I have tried
i.             Steamed chicken rice
ii.          Sauté chicken rice

This time I would like to try Normal Cook Chicken rice.

Normal Cook Chicken Rice

Ingredients

1 kg bathmathi rice (approx. 6 drinking cups)
8 cups chicken broth
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
2 tablespoons blended onion
1 onion round cut
1 sprig of mint (optional)
1 sprig parsley
Sauté spices (cinnamon, star anise, cloves and cardamom
Pandan leaves
Salt
Sugar


Methods

1.    Wash and soak the rice for about 1 hour.
2.    Fill the pot with the chicken broth.
3.    Put sauté spices, pandan leaves and onion.
4.    Put the blended ginger-garlic, blended onion and stir.
5.    Add mint leaves and parsley.
6.    Add salt and sugar.
7.    Pour the soaked rice and stir briefly until fluffy.
8.    Cover the pot and let the rice cook.
9. Once cooked, ready to be served and eaten with roasted chicken, baked chicken, roasted chicken with creamy sauce and all kinds of chicken dishes.


Nasi ayam dapat dimasak dengan berbagai cara.  Saya telah mencuba 
i.             Nasi ayam kukus
ii.           Nasi ayamtumis

Kali ini saya ingin mencuba nasi ayam tanak.

Nasi Ayam

Bahan-bahan

1 kg beras bathmathi (lebih kurang 6 cawan minuman)
8 cawan air rebusan ayam
2 sudu besar kisaran bawang besar
1 biji bawang besar dipotong bulat
1 tangkai daun pudina (optional)
1 tangkai daun sup
Rempah tumisan (kulit kayu manis, bunga lawang, bunga cengkih dan buah pelaga
Daun Pandan
Garam
Gula


Langkah-langkah

1.    Cuci dan rendamkan beras selama lebih kurang 1 jam.
2.    Isikan periuk dengan air rebusan.
3.    Masukkan rempah tumisan, daun pandan dan bawang besar.
4.    Masukkan bahan-bahan kisaran dan kacau. 
5.    Masukkan daun pudina.  Kacau sehingga sebati.
6.    Perisakan dengan garam dan gula.
7.    Curahkan beras yang telah direndam dan kacau sebentar sehingga beras kembang.
8.    Tutupkan periuk dan biarkan nasi masak.
9.  Setelah masak siap untuk dihidang dan dimakan bersama ayam panggang, ayam bakar, ayam percik dan semua masakan jenis ayam.
