Ingredients
2 stalks cucumber cut finely longitudinal
2 stalks carrots cut finely longitudinal
5 stems of red chillies cut finely longitudinal
2 onions cut thinly
3 cloves garlic, cut thinly
Mustard seeds
Sesame dry fried
1 whole lemon for juice
3 tablespoons homemade chilli paste
2 tbsp homemade ginger-garlic paste
1 tablespoon blended fresh turmeric
Olive oil
Salt
Sugar
Methods
- Dry fry sesame seeds until crisp. Set aside.
- Heat oil and sauté cut onion and garlic.
- Once wilted, stir-fry ginger-garlic paste, blended turmeric and chilli paste.
- Add mustard seeds and mix well.
- Once all well blended, add carrot and mixed.
- Add red chilli and mixed. Finally add the cucumber and mix well.
- Pour squeezed lemon juice, salt and sugar to taste. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Mix all until well blended and ready to serve baryani rice set.

2 batang timun dipotong rampai
2 batang lobak merah dipotong rampai
5 batang cili merah dipotong rampai
2 ulas bawang besar dipotong nipis
3 ulas bawang putih dipotong nipis
Biji sawi

1 biji lemon diambil jus
3 sudu besar pes cili kisar
2 sudu pes halia-bawang putih
1 sudu besar kisaran kunyit segar
Minyak zaiton
Garam
Gula
Langkah-langkah
- Bijan disangai sehingga garing. Ketepikan.
- Panaskan minyak, tumiskan bawang merah dan bawang putih.
- Setelah layu, tumiskan pes halia-bawang putih, kisaran kunyit segar dan pes cili kisar.
- Masukkan biji sawi dan digaul rata.
- Setelah semua sebati, masukkan lobak merah dan digaul.
- Masukkan cili merah dan digaul. Akhir sekali masukkan timun dan digaul rata.
- Masukkan perahan jus lemon, garam dan gula secukup rasa. Taburkan bijan.
- Gaul semua sehingga sebati dan siap untuk dihidang bersama set nasi baryani.
