TERONG MENTEGA BERLADO / BUTTERED EGGPLANT IN HOT SAUCE

Buttered Eggplant in Hot Sauce

Ingredients

1 long eggplant cut into thin lengthwise
1 tablespoon sauce multipurpose
Salt
Sugar

Butter
Dried tamarind

Pounded Ingredients

5 stem red chillies
1 onion
4 cloves of garlic
100 grams of anchovies

Methods
  1. Fried eggplant with butter until wilted.
  2. Sauté multi-purpose paste using remaining butter.
  3. Sauté pounded ingredients and dried tamarind until fragrant.
  4. Pinch of salt and sugar to taste.
  5. Arrange the buttered eggplant in a container and pour the sauce.
  6. Ready to be serve.
Terong Berlado

Bahan-bahan

1 terong panjang dipotong nipis memanjang
1 sudu besar sos pelbagai guna
Garam
Gula

Mentega
Asam keping

Bahan ditumbuk

5 batang cili merah
1 ulas bawang besar
4 ulas bawang putih
100 gram ikan bilis

Langkah-langkah

  1. Terong digoreng dengan mentega sehingga layu.
  2. Tumiskan pes pelbagai guna.
  3. Tumiskan bahan tumbuk dan asam keping sehingga naik bau.
  4. Perisakan dengan garam dan gula.
  5. Susun terong dalam bekas dan curahkan sambal yang ditumis.
  6. Siap untuk dihidang.
