CAPATI / CHAPATTI







Chapatti

Ingredients

2 cups atta flour
1 cup hot water
2 tablespoons margarine
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt

Methods
  1. Mix the flour and salt together in a bowl.
  2. Put the margarine and olive oil into the batter and mix well.
  3. Put hot water gradually until the dough becomes soft.
  4. Divide the batter evenly into balls shape and let it rest for at least 15 minutes.
  5. Roll the dough into a round shape and place in hot pan without oil.
  6. Rub the surface to avoid big bubble, turned the dough and let it cook.
  7. Ready to be served with dhal gravy or curry.
Capati

Bahan-bahan

2 cawan tepung atta
1 cawan air panas
2 sudu besar majerin
1 sudu besar minyak zaiton
1 sudu teh garam

Langkah-langkah

  1. Campurkan garam bersama tepung di dalam mangkuk menguli.
  2. Masukkan majerin dan minyak zaiton ke dalam adunan dan digaul rata.
  3. Masukkan air panas sedikit demi sedikit sehingga adunan menjadi anjal.
  4. Bahagikan adunan sama rata menjadi ketulan dan biarkan sekurang-kurang 15 minit.
  5. Canaikan adunan menjadi bulat, dan letakkan dalam kuali yang panas tanpa minyak.
  6. Gosokkan gelembong angin supaya tidak besar, terbalikkan dan biarkan seketika.
  7. Siap untuk dihidang bersama kuah dhal atau kari.
