AYAM HALIA-GAJUS / GINGER-CASHEW NUT CHICKEN




Ginger-Cashew nut Chicken

Ingredients

500 grams of chicken meat – cut cubed
1 tablespoon of turmeric powder
1 onion chopped
2 cloves garlic chopped
2 inches ginger cut into small pieces lengthwise
3 inches carrots cut into small pieces lengthwise
1 red chili cut into small sticks lengthwise
6 inches spring onion cut lengthwise
2 inches zucchini cut into six sections       
50 grams cashew - fried
Salt
Sugar
3 tablespoons olive oil

Methods

1.    Chicken cut into cube and marinated it with turmeric powder and salt.
2.    Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry chicken until brown.
3.    Add onion and garlic until fragrant.
4.    Put ginger and carrot slices. Stir it for a while.
5.    Add in red chili, spring onions and zucchini.
6.    Mix all ingredients until smooth, finally put cashew.
7.    Ready and served to be eaten with steamed rice.

Ayam Halia-Gajus

Bahan-bahan

500 gram isi ayam
1 sudu besar serbuk kunyit
1 bawang besar diracik
2 ulas bawang putih diracik
2 inci halia dipotong kecil memanjang
3 inci lobak dipotong kecil memanjang
1 batang cili merah dipotong kecil memanjang
6 inci daun bawang dipotong memanjang
2 inci zucchini di belah enam
50 gram gajus siap digoreng
Garam
Gula
3 sudu besar minyak zaiton

Langkah-langkah

1.    Ayam dipotong kecil dan diperap dengan serbuk kunyit dan garam.
2.    Panaskan minyak zaiton dalam kuali dan digoreng isi ayam sehingga keperangan.
3.    Masukkan bawang besar dan bawang putih sehingga naik bau.
4.    Masukkan hirisan halia dan lobak merah.  Kacau seketika.
5.    Selepas itu masukkan cili merah, daun bawang dan zucchini.
6.    Gaulkan semua bahan sehingga sebati, akhir sekali masukan gajus.
7.    Siap dan dihidangkan untuk dimakan dengan nasi.
