PULUT KUNING / TURMERIC GLUTINOUS RICE





Turmeric Glutinous Rice

Ingredients

3 cups glutinous rice
3 tablespoons of turmeric powder
Coconut milk from a coconut
Salt
1 pandan leaf

Methods

  1. Soak glutinous rice with turmeric powder for at least 1 hour. 
  2. Prepare a steamer and heat the water. 
  3. Drain the rice and put in a container for steamed with pandan leaves and salt, steam for 15 minutes. 
  4. Once cooked, take out glutinous rice from steamer. 
  5. Add coconut milk and mix well. Steam it again for 15 minutes. 
  6. Take it out from steamer and serve with the beef rendang.
Pulut Kuning

Bahan-bahan

3 cawan beras pulut
3 sudu besar serbuk kunyit
Santan pekat dari sebiji kelapa
Garam
1 helai pandan

Langkah-langkah

  1. Rendam beras beserta serbuk kunyit sekurang-kurang 1 jam.
  2. Sediakan pengukus dan panaskan air.
  3. Toskan beras dan masukkan ke dalam bekas untuk dikukus berserta daun pandan dan garam, kukus selama 15 minit.
  4. Setelah beras pulut kembang keluarkan dari kukus.
  5. Masukkan santan pekat dan gaul rata. Kukuskan sekali lagi selama 15 minit.
  6. Keluarkan dan hidangkan bersama dengan rendang daging.
