PISANG MASAK LEMAK KUNING / YOUNG BANANA IN HOT CREAMY YELLOW SAUCE




Young Bananas in Hot Creamy Yellow Sauce

Ingredients

10 young bananas
50 grams anchovies – soaked
3 tablespoons homemade multi usage paste
Coconut milk from one coconut/palm oil milk
1 turmeric leaf
3 stack basil leaf
1 stalk lemon grass, pounded

5 candle nut
5 - 7 bird's eye chili
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
Salt
Sugar
Tamarind/dates vinegar
Water

Methods

  1. Boil the processed young bananas until tender. Put aside
  2. In a saucepan add about 1 liter of water.
  3. Pound candle nut and bird's eye chili.
  4. Put homemade multi usage paste, soaked anchovies, chili powder, turmeric powder and mixed of candle nut-bird's eye chili.
  5. Put tamarind/dates vinegar.
  6. After that, add coconut milk gradually.
  7. After all mixture well blended, stir and add salt, sugar, cut turmeric leaf and basil leaf.
  8. Put boiled young bananas.
  9. After boiled, turn off the heat and ready to be served.
Pisang Masak Lemak Cili Padi

Bahan-bahan

10 biji pisang muda dibuang kulit luar
50 gm ikan bilis - direndam
3 sudu besar pes pelbagai guna
Santan kelapa dari satu biji kelapa/santan sawit
1 helai daun kunyit
3 tangkai daun selasih
1 batang serai dititik

5 biji buah keras
5 -7 cili padi
1 sudu besar serbuk kunyit
1 sudu teh serbuk cili
Garam
Gula
Asam keping / Cuka kurma
Air

Langkah-langkah

  1. Rebus pisang muda sehingga lembut. Ketepikan.
  2. Dalam periuk masukkan air lebih kurang 1 liter.
  3. Tumbuk buah keras dan cili padi.
  4. Masukkan pes pelbagai guna, ikan bilis, serbuk cili,serbuk kunyit  dan campuran buah keras-cili padi.
  5. Masukkan asam keping/cuka kurma.
  6. Selepas itu masukkan santan sedikit demi sedikit.
  7. Setelah semuanya sebati, kacau dan masukkan garam, gula, daun kunyit dan daun selasih.
  8. Masukkan pisang yang telah direbus.
  9. Setelah mendidih matikan api dan siap untuk dihidang.
