NASI ULAMAN / HERBAL RICE

Set nasi ulaman / Herbal rice set
 Air asam pencicah / Hot sour dipping sauce
Kurma ayam / Chicken kurma
Nasi ulaman / Herbal rice
Herbal Rice

Ingredients

½ kg basmati rice
3 ½ cups of water
100 grams of dried shrimps, dried roasted and coarsely ground
½ coconut fried until dry (kerisek)
Salt

Herbs used
(all fresh herbs finely cut)

Mint leaves
Basil leaves
Ginger flower
Selom leaves
Lemongrass
Shallots

Methods

1.    Cooked rice as usual (cooks / steam).
2.    Scooped rice and mix all hebs, dry shrimps and kerisek.
3.    Ready to be served with chicken kurma, hot sour dipping sauce and grilled meat.

Nasi Ulam

Bahan-bahan

½ kg beras basmathi
3½ cawan air
100 gram udang kering digoreng kering dan ditumbuk kasar
½ biji isi kelapa digoreng sehingga kering (kerisek)
Garam

Bahan-bahan untuk ulaman
(semua herba segar dipotong kecil)

Daun pudina
Daun selasih
Bunga kantan
Daun selom
Serai
Bawang kecil

Langkah-langkah

1.    Nasi dimasak seperti biasa (tanak/kukus)
2.    Sedukkan nasi dan gaul semua ualaman serta udang kering dan kerisek.
3.    Siap untuk dihidang bersama kurma ayam, air asam pencicah dan daging bakar.

    1. Hai Helen, yes, it was very healty with all type of herb. You can put other herb which you like. Main ingredients that don't left out, pounded dried shrimp, fried coconut, ginger flower and shallots. Try it.
