Roast Glutinous Rice Parcel
Ingredients
250 gm glutinous rice
Coconut milk from 1/2 coconuts
For filling
Grated coconut from 1/2 coconuts
1 onion - blended
2 cloves garlic - blended
5 mm ginger - blended
5 mm galangal - blended
1 stalk lemon grass - blended
50 gm dried shrimp – coarsely blended
Olive oil
Salt
Sugar
Water

Methods
- Soak glutinous rice for about 30 minutes.
- Cook glutinous rice with equal quantity of water to the rice.
- After cooked, mix the glutinous rice with coconut milk mixed with salt.
- Set aside and leave at room temperature.
- Heat pan and add olive oil.
- Stir-fry ground ingredients until fragrant.
- After dry, add grated coconut and mix with salt and sugar.
- After all being a bit dry, remove and let cool.
- Oiled banana leaf. Press glutinous rice on a banana leaf and put the filling in the middle of flatten glutinous rice.
- Roll banana leaf tightly. Trim nicely the end rolled banana leaf.
- Roast it on fire or use the oven.
- After glutinous rice crisp, it is ready to eat.
Pulut Panggang
Bahan-bahan
250 gm beras pulut
Santan dari 1/2 biji kelapa
Untuk Inti
Kelapa parut dari 1/2 biji kelapa
1 biji bawang besar dikisar
2 ulas bawang putih dikisar
5 mm halia dikisar
5 mm lengkuas dikisar
1 batang serai dikisar
50 gm udang kering dikisar kasar
Minyak zaiton
Garam
Gula
Air
Daun pisang
Langkah-langkah
- Rendam beras pulut selama lebih kurang 30 minit.
- Masakkan pulut dengan sukatan air sama dengan beras.
- Setelah masak, gaulkan pulut dengan santan bercampur garam.
- Ketepikan dan biarkan pada suhu bilik.
- Panaskan kuali dan masukkan minyak zaiton.
- Tumiskan bahan yang dikisar sehingga berbau wangi.
- Setelah agak kering, masukkan kelapa parut dan gaul bersama garam dan gula.
- Setelah semua menjadi agak kering, ketepikan dan biarkan sejuk seketika.
- Daun pisang disapu minyak. Lepekkan pulut yang ke atas daun pisang dan masukkan inti pada tengah pulut.
- Gulungkan daun pisang sehingga padat. Kemaskan pada bahagian hujung.
- Panggangkan di atas api atau menggunakan ketuhar.
- Setelah garing siap untuk dimakan

Thanks My Little Space, actually I started cooking when I was a bachelor..I learned some of cooking basics through trial & error. Well, it has now become my hobby & I find that cooking is fun & rewarding..:))
