KEPINGAN OAT KURMA / OAT DATES SQUARES

Here's another healthy & delicious recipes using dates as fillings. As we all know, dates are fat-free, cholesterol-free & packed with fiber. These dates squares require no egg in the ingredients. We promise you..they are absolutely yummy & perfect with a cup of hot tea!

Oat Dates Square

Ingredients

Dates Filling
3 cups pitted dates
1 cup water
1 tsp vanilla essence

Oatmeal Crust
1 cup oats
1 cup wheat biscuits
1 cup superfine flour
¾ cup brown sugar
½ tsp sodium bicarbonate
¼ tsp salt
230 gm cold butter

Methods

Dates Filling
  1. Place pitted dates and water. Cook over low heat. Stirring occasionally until dates ore soft and absorbed the water.
  2. Remove from heat, put vanilla essence.
  3. Let cool in room temperature.  Mashed until fine. 
 Oatmeal Crust
  1. In a bowl, place oats, wheat biscuits, flour, sugar, baking soda and salt.
  2. Using rub in method to combine the ingredients until the mixture is crumbly and begins to come together.
  3. Press 2/3 of mixture onto base of prepared pan.
  4. Spread the date puree evenly over the oatmeal crust.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining dough evenly over the top of the dates. Press down gently to compact.
  6. Bake for about 30 to 40 minutes at 180 deg.Celsius until golden brown.
  7. Once cool, cover pan with aluminium foil and place in refrigerator for one hour until firm enough to cut into squares. 
Kepingan Oat Kurma

Bahan-bahan

Inti Kurma
3 cawan kurma dibuang bijinya
1 cawan air
1 sudu kecil esen vanilla

Kerak Oatmeal
1 cawan oat1 cawan biskut gandum
1 cawan tepung halus
¾ cawan gula perang
½ sudu teh sodium bikarbonat
¼ sudu kecil garam
230 gm mentega sejuk



Langkah-langkah


Inti Kurma
  1. Sebatikan kurma dan air. Masak di atas api yang rendah. Kacau sekali sekala sehingga kurma lembut dan menyerap air.
  2. Angkat daripada api, letakkan esen vanila.
  3. Biarkan sejuk pada suhu bilik. Dikacau sehingga lumat.

Kerak Oatmeal
  1. Di dalam mangkuk, masukkan oat, biskut gandum, tepung, gula, baking soda dan garam.
  2. Menggunakan kaedah menggaul dengan tangan untuk menggabungkan bahan-bahan sehingga campuran menjadi rangup dan semua bahan mula bersatu
  3. Tekan 2/3 campuran ke asas acuan pembakar tersedia.
  4. Ratakan puri kurma dengan sekata di atas kerak oat.
  5. Taburkan baki doh sama rata di atas inti kurma tersebut. Tekan ke bawah perlahan-lahan-untuk memadatkannya.
  6. Bakar selama kira-kira 30 hingga 40 minit pada suhu 180 deg.Celsius sehingga perang keemasan.
  7. Setelah sejuk, tutup acuan pembakar dengan kepingan aluminium dan tempatkan di dalam peti sejuk selama satu jam sehingga cukup mengeras, potong menjadi segi empat. Sajikan.
