SAMBAL TUMIS UDANG HARIMAU / TIGER PRAWN IN STIR-FRY SAUCE



Tiger Prawn in Stir-fry sauce

Ingredients

15 stems dried chili – blend
500 grams tiger prawn
2 onions - blend
2 cloves garlic - blend
20 mm ginger - blend
1 tomato - blend
Tamarind
Salt
Sugar
Oil

Methods

1.    Sauté blended ingredients until fragrant and crisp.
2.    Add the tamarind juice, salt and sugar. Stir well until all ingredients blended.
3.    Add prawns and wait until it turn flame red.
4.    When the prawns turn flame red, sauce boil and become thick, eat it with steamed rice in coconut milk or saute coconut milk rice.

Sambal Tumis Udang Harimau

Bahan-bahan

15 batang cili kering – dikisar
500 gram udang harimau
2 ulas bawang besar - dikisar
2 ulas bawang putih – dikisar
20 mm halia – dikisar
1 biji tomato - dikisar
Asam jawa
Garam
Gula
Minyak

Langkah-langkah

1.    Tumis bahan kisar sehingga naik bau dan cili kisar menjadi garing.
2.    Masukkan air asam jawa, garam dan gula.  Kacau hingga sebati.
3.    Masukkan udang harimau dan biarkan sehingga warna bertukar merah api.
4.    Setelah semuanya sebati, udang bertukar merah api dan sos menjadi pekat, boleh dimakan bersama nasi lemak kukus atau nasi lemak tumis.
