KEK COKLAT KUKUS TANPA TELOR / EGGLESS STEAMED CHOCOLATE CAKE

Planning to make a chocolate cake but unfortunately discovered that we are running out of eggs on the shelf...browsed some recipe blogs & found this lovely recipe which suited us perfectly....thanks to http://dayangjack.blogspot.com/2011/11/kek-coklat-kukus-tanpa-telur-super.html for this marvelous recipe..:)) 



Kek Coklat Kukus Tanpa Telor

Bahan A :

125 g tepung gandum
1 sudu kecil serbuk soda bikarbonat
 2 sudu kecil serbuk penaik

 Bahan B :

1 cawan serbuk koko 
1 cawan gula perang (sila lebihkan gula jika menggunakan serbuk koko pahit/pure cocoa)
1/2 cawan susu pekat manis
1 sudu kecil esen vanilla atau 1 sudu kecil coffee emulco
2 cawan susu cair/susu segar
1/2 cawan minyak jagung/minyak masak sayuran
1/4 sudu kecil atau secubit garam

Bahan C :

1 sudu besar cuka makan atau jus lemon

Cara-cara :
  1. Sediakan pengukus. Didihkan airnya
  2.  Ayakkan bahan A dan kacau rata-rata. Ketepikan. 
  3. Satukan kesemua bahan B ke dalam periuk dan dengan menggunakan api perlahan, kacau adunan hingga gula
  4. larut dan sebati. Tutupkan api dan biarkan ia suam.
  5. Kemudian satukan bahan A dan B dengan menggunakan hand whisk atau rubber spatula. Kacau hingga sebati.
  6. Pastikan adunan tidak bergentel  
  7. Akhir sekali masukkan bahan C. Terus kacau serta merta tetapi jangan terlebih kacau atau terlalu lama.
  8. Kemudian tuangkan adunan ke dalam loyang yang sudah digriskan dengan mentega. 
  9. Tutupkan loyang dengan kertas foil. 
  10. Kukuslah selama lebih kurang 45 minit atau 1 jam. 
  11. Setelah habis dikukus, padamkan api. Biarkan sebentar selama 10 minit sebelum mengeluarkan kek dari loyang.  
  12.  Sejukkan kek sebelum dipotong. Boleh juga dihiaskan dengan topping kesukaan masing2.

Eggless Steamed Chocolate Cake 

Ingredients A:

125 g flour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
2 teaspoon baking powder

Ingredients B:

1 cup cocoa powder
1 cup brown sugar (add more sugar if you use bitter cocoa powder/pure cocoa)
1 / 2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence or 1 tsp coffee emulco
2 cups evaporated milk / fresh milk
1 / 2 cup corn oil / vegetable cooking oil
1 / 4 teaspoon or a pinch of salt

Ingredients C:

1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice

Methods:

Prepare a steamer. Boil the water
Sift and mix ingredients A.  Put aside.
Mix all ingredients B into the pot and over low heat, stir mixture until the sugar dissolved and mixed.
Off the heat and let it warm.
Then combine ingredients A and B with a hand whisk or rubber spatula. Stir until well blended.
Make sure the dough does not lumpy.
Finally add the ingredients C. Continue to stir immediately but do not over-stir or too long.
Then pour the batter into the greased pan.
Cover pan with aluminum foil.
Steam for about 45 minutes or an hour.
After steaming, turn off heat. Wait for 10 minutes before removing cake from pan.
Cool the cake before cut. Adorned it with your favorite toppings.
