SAMBAL BUAH / FRUIT HOT SAUCE


Sambal Buah

Bahan-bahan

1 biji buah bacang (diguna separuh - boleh juga guna tomato, mangga dll)
5 biji cili hidup
1 ulas bawang besar (saiz kecil)
2 ulas bawang putih
10 mm belacan
Gula

Langkah-langkah

1.       Masukkan cili hidup, bawang besar dan bawang putih ke dalam lesung batu.
2.       Tumbuk sehingga agak lumat.
3.       Masukkan belacan yang dibakar sekejap.  Tumbuk sehingga sebati. Masukan secubit gula sebagai perisa.
4.       Masukan isi buah bacang yang diricik halus.
5.       Tumbuk sekejap agar mengeluarkan air dan gaul dengan sudu.
6.       Hidangkan bersama ulaman. (pucuk gajus, ulam raja, timun dll).  Selamat menjamu selera.

Fruit Hot Sauce

Ingredients

1 bacang (used half - can also use tomato, mango, etc.) bacang is one type of mango
5 fresh chilies
1 large shallot (small size)
2 cloves garlic
10 mm shrimp-paste
Sugar

Methods

1. Add fresh chilies, onion and garlic into a stone mortar and pestle.
2. Mash it until fine.
3. Put baked shrimp. Mash until smooth. Put pinch of sugar as a flavoring.
4. Put bacang pulp that has been cut finely.
5. Punch a while to remove water and mix with a spoon.
6. Serve with salad. (top nuts, salad king, cucumber, etc.). Happy eating.
