CARROT CAKE

Carrot Cake
                   
Ingredients

Cake
2 cups flour
2 eggs
Vanilla essence
1 ½ cup sugar (brown + white)
250 g butter
2 tsp baking powder
2 carrots (shredded)
1 cup chopped walnut
½ cup raisins
¾ cup evaporated milk

Cream cheese topping
250 grams cream cheese, softened
½ cup butter, softened
½ cups sifted icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
                   
Methods

Cake

1.          Pre-heat oven at 180 degree Celsius.
2.          Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
3.          Add egg one at a time.  Add vanilla essence.
4.          Add flour and shredded carrots.  Beat well.
5.          Pour in milk.
6.          Add chopped walnut and raisins.
7.          Pour the mixture into the pan.
8.          Bake in oven for 45 minutes.

Cream cheese topping

1.          In a medium bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter until             creamy.
2.          Mix in the vanilla, then gradually stir in the confectioners’ sugar
3.          Store in the refrigerator after use.


Kek Lobak Merah
                                
Bahan-bahan

Kek

2 cawan tepung kek
2 biji telur
esen vanila
1 ½ cawan gula (perang + putih)
250 gm mentega
2 sudu kecil serbuk penaik
2 batang karot besar ( lebih kurang1 cawan) (diparut)
1 cawan cincangan walnut
½ cawan kismis
¾ cawan susu sejat

Topping Krim Keju

250 gram krim keju, dilembutkan
½  cawan mentega, dilembutkan
½  cawan gula aising diayak
1 sudu teh ekstrak vanila
  
Langkah-langkah

Kek

1.          Panaskan ketuhar pada suhu 180 darjah  Celsius.
2.          Pukul mentega dan gula sehingga berkrim.
3.          Masukkan telur satu demi satu. Tambah esen vanila.
4.          Tambah tepung dan lobak parut. Gaul rata.
5.          Masukkan susu.
6.          Tambah walnut dan kismis yang dicincang.
7.          Tuangkan adunan ke dalam bekas.
8.          Bakar dalam ketuhar selama 45 minit.

Topping Krim Keju

1.          Di dalam mangkuk sederhana saiz, pukulkan krim keju dan mentega sehingga        berkrim.
2.          Masukkan esen vanila, kemudian perlahan-lahan masukkan gula aising.
3.          Sapukan dan ratakan pada permukaan kek mengikut patern yang disukai.

  10. salam... mekasih singgah blog k.nor.. izinkan k.nor beritau kat sini ya.. mmg k.nor dah berpuluh tahun masak sejak sebelum kawin lg tak pernah guna serbuk perasa. tahun ni dah nak masuk 24 tahun kawin.. so mmg dah lama tak guna bahan tu.. mekasih atas informasi kat entri k.nor td ya.. :)
