NASI AYAM KUKUS / STEAMED CHICKEN RICE

Steamed Chicken Rice

Ingredients

For Rice


3 cups basmati rice
4 cups chicken broth soup
1 tablespoon blended onion
2 teaspoon of blended garlic
½ teaspoon blended ginger
Salt
Sugar 
Pandan leaves
Parsley

Sauce

5 fresh chilies
1 tablespoon blended onion
2 teaspoon of blended garlic
½ teaspoon blended ginger
25 gm raisin blended
Salt
1 lemon cut
Chili sauce, tomato sauce and plum sauce
Salt
Sugar

Soup

1 chicken cut four
1 bundle soup spice
1 tablespoon blended onion
2 teaspoon of blended garlic
½ teaspoon blended ginger
Salt

Methods

Rice

  1. Rice soaked for 30 minutes. Tossed it.
  2. Add rice to the pot, fill with chicken soup to measured.
  3. Add blended ingredients, pandan leaf, salt and sugar.
  4. Put it into the steamer.
  5. After cooking can be served with fried chicken, baked, roasted or steamed, and 
  6. sauces and soups.
Sauce
  1. Heat wok and add oil. Sauté ginger and garlic. When fragrant, pour the blended
  2. chilies.
  3. Add salt, sugar, sour plum sauce, chili sauce and tomato sauce. (Optional: can be
  4. mixed with ground raisins).
  5. A good taste for this sauce, sour, spicy, sweet and salty. Use lemon juice for
  6. sourly.
  7. This sauce can be served in thick or thin. To dilute the sauce use prepared soup.
Soup
  1. Put bundle soup spice, blended ingredients and water into a pot.
  2. Add chicken cut into four, salt and sugar to taste.
  3. Let it boil. Separate the soup to cook rice.

Bahan-bahan

Nasi

3 cawan beras basmathi
4 cawan air rebusan ayam yang dijadikan sup
1 sudu besar bawang besar dikisar
2 sudu teh bawang putih dikisar
½ sudu teh halia dikisar
Garam
Gula 
Daun pandan
Daun sup
Sos

5 batang cili merah
1 sudu besar bawang besar dikisar
2 sudu teh bawang putih dikisar
½ sudu teh halia dikisar
25 gm kismis dikisar
Garam
1 potongan lemon
Sos-sos cili, tomato dan plum
Garam
Gula

Sup

1 ekor ayam dipotong empat
1 sup bunjut
1 sudu besar bawang besar dikisar
2 sudu teh bawang putih dikisar
½ sudu teh halia dikisar
Garam

Langkah-langkah

Nasi

  1. Beras direndam untuk selama 30 minit. Selepas itu toskan beras.
  2. Masukkan beras ke dalam periuk, isikan air mengikut sukatan.
  3. Masukkan bahan dikisar, daun pandan, garam dan gula.
  4. Masukkan periuk ke dalam pengukus.
  5. Setelah masak boleh dihidang bersama ayam goreng, bakar atau kukus serta sos dan sup.
Sos
  1. Panaskan kuali dan masukkan minyak. Tumiskan halia dan bawang putih. Bila tumisan sudah matang, masukkan cili hidup yang telah dikisar.
  2. Masukkan garam, gula, sos sour plum, sos cili dan sos tomato. (Optional : boleh dikisar kismis dan dicampurkan bersama tumisan sos).
  3. Rasa bagi sos ini biarlah ada masam, manis dan masin disamping pedas. Untuk memasamkan boleh digunakan perahan lemon.
  4. Sos ini boleh dihidangkan secara pekat atau cair. Untuk mencairkan sos gunakan kuah sup yang telah disediakan.
Sup
  1. Masukkan bahan dikisar dan sup bonjot ke dalam periuk yang diisi air
  2. Masukkan ayam yang dipotong empat, garam dan sedikit gula secukup rasa.
  3. Biarkan mendidih. Asingkan kuah sup untuk memasak nasi.
