KETAM MASAK LEMAK / CRAB WITH PALM MILK

Crab With Palm Milk

Ingredients
 

2 large size crabs
1 onion *
5-7 bird's eye chillies *
2 cloves garlics *
10 mm ginger *
10 mm galangal *
10 mm tumeric *
Few slices of pineapple
1 piece of tumeric leaf (cut into half)
1/2 slice of tumeric leaf *
1/2 cup palm milk
salt to taste
pinch of sugar
2 pieces of dried tamanrind
2tbs olive oil

Method

  1. Saute the blended mixture until fragrant.
  2. Add water if the mixture thicken. 
  3. Add in cut crabs.
  4. Put in slices of pineapple. Sugar and salt to taste and add in dried tamarind.
  5. Pour in palm milk a little at a time, stir well. Once boil turn off the heat.
  6. Ready to served with other dishes.
 Ketam Masak Lemak

Bahan-bahan
 

2 ekor ketam saiz besar
1 ulas bawang besar – dikisar
5 – 7 biji cili padi - dikisar
2 ulas bawang putih – dikisar
10 mm halia – dikisar
10 mm lengkuas – dikisar
10 mm kunyit hidup - dikisar
1 batang serai – dikisar
Sedikit hirisan nenas
Secebis daun kunyit – ½ dipotong, ½ dikisar
1/2 cawan santan (sekarang dicadangkan guna santan kelapa sawit – makanan sihat)
Garam
Gula
1/4 cawan air
Asam keping
Minyak zaiton

Langkah-langkah

  1. Tumiskan bahan dikisar sehingga naik bau.
  2. Cairkan sedikit bahan tumisan dengan sedikit air.
  3. Masukkan ketam yang dibelah dua.
  4. Masukkan nenas yang dipotong. Masukkan sedikit garam, gula dan asam keping.
  5. Setelah mendidih, masukan santan sedikit demi sedikit dan kacau sehingga sebati.
  6. Setelah kuah mendidih, matikan api. Siap untuk dihidang bersama nasi dan lain-lain bahan sampingan.

  2. Boleh saja, sebab function dia lebih kurang saja. Mungkin rasa lemaknya kurang, Kalau gaya hidup sihat memang bagus guna low fat milk.
